The SVES USA Alumni Meet, 2nd of November 2025, in Edison, NJ brought together a dynamic community of SVES alumni, strengthening connections across continents and professions. Defining moments in a journey often arrive quietly,yet leave behind absolute clarity.

Sridhar Bathula (CSIT,Class of 2005,BVRITN) , currently working as Field CTO at Softility ,Inc experienced one such moment during recent discussions in the last week of April 2026 with technology leaders from Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and global enterprises. A consistent message emerged: “This is exactly what we’ve been looking for.”

The challenges highlighted are operational inefficiencies, contextual gaps, and system limitations were not new; they had been anticipated and explored nearly a year earlier, reflecting strong foresight and intentional innovation.

With gratitude, Sridhar acknowledged the candor and trust extended by leaders who have witnessed decades of technological evolution. Their insights were not just perspectives, they were validation, shaping and sharpening the direction of next-generation agentic AI.

He recently delivered a talk at ASGCT 2026 alongside Federico Franchi (Senior Manager, Cell Therapy Biology & Applications at Cytiva) on producing solid tumor CAR-T doses using the Sefia cell therapy manufacturing platform. The session highlighted scalable approaches that are helping advance the future of cell therapy manufacturing.

His research applies causal artificial intelligence to uncover and address the root causes of nursing burnout a challenge with far-reaching consequences for healthcare systems worldwide.

Homecoming with purpose! The Biomedical Engineering Department welcomed its distinguished 2000–2004 alumni back to campus for an inspiring reunion that connected experience with aspiration.

The accomplished alumni included Abhishek Maharaju (Founder & Director, Tetramind & Vyb Active Pvt. Ltd.), Krishna Chotneeru (Director, Global Head – Immunology Statistics Analyst, Teva Pharmaceuticals, USA), Varun Kumar (Consulting Application Engineer, HCA–Parallon, USA), Rajinikanth Budigelli (Team Lead, IBM India Pvt. Ltd.), Chandra Shekar (Head–IT, iSprout Business Centre Pvt. Ltd.), P. Vivekananda (Software Engineer, Tata Consultancy Services), Srikanth Talluri (Founder & CEO, 6D.Works & 6D.Varsity), Karingula Nagaraj (Data Architect, Quantiphi), Y. Ramanjaneyulu (Senior Lecturer, SGPR Government Polytechnic, Kurnool), Mahathi Preethi Govindu (Managing Director, IOM Healthtech) and Kalyan Mallapuram (Chief Executive Officer, IOM Healthtech).
